We have briefly listed below a systematic guide and information about key exchanges, which will be of help to both you and the surgeon and will help NTP Healthcare in serving you better.

Step1 :Cost estimate and guidelines

A general first inquiry is made from your i.e. the patient’s end. We respond with relevant information, including all-inclusive cost estimates for the surgery, a basic outline of the surgical and recuperation period for your selected surgical procedures. You can initiate the medical tourism process by contacting us.

We encourage you to provide us with the medical history and all relevant details to give us a better perspective of your complete requirement.

Step 2 – Medical evaluation by the selected surgeon:

Information is the key for both patient and surgeon. All medical questions are forwarded to the surgeon for his expert professional input. The medical history together with any additional medical requirements will allow the surgeon to make an initial medical evaluation.
Following the surgeon’s initial medical feedback, we will be happy to co-ordinate any further queries you may have with the surgeon regarding details or particulars of the surgery and the expected results. If need be, we will also arrange for a telephonic consultation with the selected surgeon at a mutually convenient time.
It is considered best if you could send across your photos and supporting medical reports/records, if any, to NTP Healthcare through email .
We will continue to communicate with you before your arrival, as information is vital for both patient and surgeon.

Step 3 – Your arrival in India:

We at NTP Healthcare treat you as our honoured guest to India and welcome you with warm hospitality of – Athithi Devo Bhava – the Guest is equated to God.
We will receive you at the airport in an appropriate vehicle depending on your medical condition and safely drop you to your destination(hospital/hotel). For elective surgical procedures, we can also provide you with a range of privately driven air-conditioned vehicles.

Step 4 – Pre-operative consultation with the surgeon

After your arrival, the first visit to the surgeon is scheduled as early as possible. The surgeon you have selected shall answer all your questions to your satisfaction, in the terms you understand. After understanding the anticipated outcome of your surgery, you and the surgeon shall therefore concur about your expectations of the end result. You are free to discuss alternatives, if any, and thoroughly understand the risks of the procedure. Neither you nor the surgeon is under any obligation until after your pre-operative consultation. The fee quoted in the initial inquiry will be confirmed after further personal medical evaluation by the surgeon. We will only collect Token payment of the tour & 10% medical expenses & the balance due after payment of the deposit is payable directly to the surgeon or at the Medical Facility at your pre-operative consultation. Payment can be made via cash, traveller’s cheques, Visa or Master Card. Please note we do not collect any additional charge as service fee/charges on the medical expenses.

Step 5 – Pre-Surgery and Surgery:

NTP Healthcare’s patient support team member will accompany you to the medical facility on the day of the surgery. The team member shall ensure that you are admitted and ready for surgery after a pre-surgery consultation with the surgeon and the specialist anaesthesiologist. Any further questions can be addressed at this consultation.

Step 6 – Recuperation:

It is customary for patients to recuperate in the town of surgery for the required post-operative period. This requirement is dependent on the nature of the procedure. We offer a choice of recuperation accommodation packages that include accommodation, certain meals, transfers to the airport along with medical assistance and support.

Step 7 – Trips:

After the approval from your surgeon, we will discuss the most suitable trip options. All the arrangements and requirements will be done bearing in mind your medical condition and comfort. I NTP Healthcare will also look into all the necessary arrangements and bookings.

Step 8 – Feedback and back home:

Once you are through with your intended itinerary and medical tourism process, we will solicit your feedback on the whole experience in India, including the operating surgeon, medical facility, I NTP Healthcare’s services, etc.
